Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a DSP/Comms Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA or Raleigh, NC. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Digital Signal Processing Department. Roles and Responsibilities: * Software development, analysis, and prototyping related to digital signal processing and communications. * Typical problem areas include software radio, signal detection and demodulation, interference cancellation, channel equalization and intersymbole interference, sampling and quantization effects, and RF propagation effects * You will work directly with senior technical staff members to define problems, perform analysis, develop creative solutions, and ensure their implementation Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * BS degree in engineering or a related field 9 years of exper: MS + 7 years of exper in lieu of degree * Experience in DSP/communications systems development experience * Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: * Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and organization skills * The ability to work effectively in a challenging, multi-contractor team environment Security Clearance Required.
